Oasis in Manchester: The story so far
OASIS will be back in town after a four-year absence from June 4, we take a look back at their gig history in the city over the last 18 years.
And with their Dig Out Your Soul LP being warmly applauded, Liam and Noel are perhaps here in their best spirits, career-wise, since the now legendary Maine Road dates in the spring of 1996.
Over three nights, 210,000-plus fans are expected to greet every snarl by Liam and lick by Noel at Heaton Park.
Before the hordes arrive, though, it's time for a trip down memory lane at some of the dates the group have played in the past in Greater Manchester.
