Autumn date for Cyndi
ONE of the pop faces of the 1980s, Cyndi Lauper will arrive here on tour tonight.
The Grammy Award-winning New Yorker burst into the consciousness of British music fans thanks to the power of MTV and unmistakably infectious anthems like Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Time After Time, True Colours and I Drove All Night.
The Flamboyant pop star is back on the road to promote her new release, Bring Ya To The Brink - which features the production work of dance duo Basement Jaxx - and Lauper still feels she has a lot to offer.
"I still have so much to say and share.
"I'm grateful for each and everyday that I get to make music.
"As long as there's a corner of the world where people want to hear me, I'll be there… singing my heart out."
