PREPARE to be entertained all weekend at Cholmondeley’s annual Pageant of Power, a stunning showcase of vintage cars, designer shopping and breathtaking aerial displays.
Taking place over July 18 and 19, the event caters to the whole family with an array of show-stopping events. With over 150 of the finest historic racing cars set to grace the track, highlights include the flagship Bugatti Veyron touring car and the JCB Dancing Diggers; both of which are surely worth the admission price alone!
And don’t forget to look to the sky! The unique Parajet flying car is only one of many stunning aerial demonstrations to take place over the weekend, matched only by the RAF Falcons Parachute display team and aerobatic events by Brietling.
For the kids there are countless ways to get involved, from riding quad bikes and fully motorised replica Jeeps to meeting popular children’s author, Steven William Burnside, creator of ‘Fergus the Tractor’.
Finally, the style conscious need not feel ignored! The Life Style Pavilion is home to many designer stalls including fabulous jewellery from LB designs, stylish hats from Peak and Brim and a stunning the summer range from renowned designer, Katherine Hooker.
“We are making huge strides with the Pageant this year,” said Event Director, James Hall. “We want to make sure that there really is something for the whole family.”
As far as CityLife can tell, they couldn't have done better!
