Eddie Hoo: Not for You Show
EDDIE Hoo’s Not for You Show sees Eddie interviewing his comedian friends and discussing a topic they feel passionate about.
These range from boats in coats to the power of the imagination via the history of roller coasters; which becomes interesting when an enthusiast with the same passion happens to be watching.
During the show Eddie declared that any reviewer in the audience should award stars to him as a person and not the show, with a rough guide being Hitler at one star and Mother Theresa at five; here goes.
Eddie is rather loud and often aggrieved. He is the kind of comedian that finds humour in the taboo.
This can be dangerous if not handled with intelligence, thankfully Eddie and his friends, particularly Seymour Mace as a very funny utterly moral, and staunchly sober counterpoint, balance shock with smart. Eddie picks his friends well.
Eddie can often feel overbearing, but as with most overbearing people you soon realise that he’s actually a thoroughly nice bloke and in this instance wants nothing more than to partner off his single mates.
So neither genocidal nor saintly, simply an entertaining person to spend the evening with.
There you go Eddie, I hope that’s what you had in mind.
