Amos to compere Store's charity fundraiser
THOUGH Citylife has a terrible line in jokes - or perhaps because Citylife has a terrible line in jokes (see? that was one right there!) - we love the Comedy Store with all our hearts.
On Sunday, May 24 the Comedy Store is hosting an extra-special show in aid of bone marrow cancer (myeloma).
Compered by none other than Stephen K Amos, Stand Up For Myeloma boasts a glittering roster of acts including Jack Whitehall, Alex Boardman and Ivan Brackenbury, recently nominated for Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Stand Up For Myeloma aims to raise a minimum of £15,000, as well as much-needed awareness for the thousands of people in the UK affected by bone marrow cancer.
The Comedy Store is at 1a-3 Deansgate Locks, Manchester, M1 5LH. Tickets cost £15, and are available from www.thecomedystore.co.uk or by calling 0844 826001
