Clubbing festivals: Global Gathering
PACE yourselves, people. Global Gathering is once again almost upon us.
The famous beach will be there, with palm trees and deckchairs.
There's an English summer fete, a full fairground and a chill-out village.
We're telling you this because, frankly, you're going to need a moment to yourself. Or maybe not. Maybe you'll find some inner strength from, ooh, somewhere, to enjoy every last, euphoric breakdown.
The Prodigy, Orbital and Pendulum are this year's headliners (not a bad trio, I'm sure you'll concur), while Sasha, Carl Cox and Paul van Dyk will be amongst a plethora of DJs slamming cuts down for you to throw shapes to.
And if that's not enough, you can always have a bungee jump. Although why people feel the need to do this at dance festivals has, frankly, always eluded us.
Global Gathering takes place at Long Marston Airfield, Stratford-upon-Avon on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25. Tickets are available now through the website to the right priced £115 for general weekend admission and £175 for VIP entry. Over-18's only.
