Warehouse return for SMD
THERE’S always something special about a visit from Simian Mobile Disco, a DJ outfit and one time band who started life as students in Manchester in the late 1990s.
After a period of self-doubt as to which camp they belonged – posturing indie rock or under the neon light of a techno club – they’ve found a fond following in both.
Which probably accounts for the bill they head up at The Warehouse Project on Saturday, which includes German house god Jesse Rose, Delphic, Young Fathers, The Rapture’s Mattie Safer and Sex With Robots.
9.30pm - 5am.
Tickets are £17.50, call 0161 832 1111 to check for returns.
