Oasis Prints by Jill Furmanovsky Auction at Christie’s
21 VINTAGE prints of Oasis snapped by Jill Furmanovsky in the golden age of the Brit-Pop titans are to be auctioned off this week.
In addition to the prints, the lot includes a signed-by-the-band program from the ‘Was There Then’ exhibition 1997, and the book of the same name.
Images include a twenty-one print archive from the exhibition Was There Then, The Roundhouse, London, 1997; 21 original prints both colour and black and white in various sizes, all framed.
Furmanovsky’s moody monochromes of the Burnage brothers are icon-shaping imagery.
The collection will be going under the hammer at Christie’s on Wednesday, July 1.
