1 / 1 imagesHAIRSPRAY-A-GO-GO: ABC in their heyday

DIG out your gold lamé suit as eighties throwbacks ABC are bringing their classic album, The Lexicon Of Love, to town with the help of a 50-piece orchestra.

Originally released 27 years ago by the Sheffield new wave pop survivors, the Steel City outfit led by dapper vocalist Martin Fry topped the charts in 1982 and spawned hit singles The Look Of Love and Poison Arrow.

Their concert at the Bridgewater Hall on December 6 will be conducted by arranger and composer, Anne Dudley.

ABC play the Bridgewater Hall on Sunday, December 6. £25 - £75. Call 0161 832 1111.
