Outsiders Massive Attack's double city return
SEPTEMBER in Manchester appears to agree with trip-hop pioneers Massive Attack.
As a little over a year after they stunned a sell-out crowd at Castlefield Arena with their aural and visual fireworks for the Beck’s Fusions shindig they’ve now lined-up two dates at the Apollo.
Part of an 11-date UK tour - the Bristol veterans first in three years - the shows on September 26 and 27 will see the outfit showcasing tracks from their first studio LP since 2003’s 100th Widow, due for release the same month.
With a working title of Weather Underground, the famously collaborative Bristolians are reported to be teaming up with Horace Andy, Stephanie Dosen, Jhelisa Anderson and Damon Albarn on the record.
Fellow Bristolian Martina Topley Bird will support.
